Biography

Pu Wenwen, Attending Physician, Postdoctoral Fellow in Plastic Surgery. She completed the combined master's and doctoral program in Plastic Surgery at Peking Union Medical College, and after graduation joined the postdoctoral research station at the First Medical Center of the Chinese People's Liberation Army General Hospital. She currently works in the Department of Facial and Neck Plastic Surgery at the Plastic Surgery Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences.

During her master's and doctoral studies, she was continuously engaged in clinical and research work in facial and neck plastic and aesthetic surgery at the Facial and Neck Plastic Surgery Center of our hospital, and has focused on the field of facial and neck plastic and aesthetic surgery for more than ten years. She has successively received training in the Departments of Scar and Wound Treatment, Adipose Plastic Surgery, Craniomaxillofacial Plastic Surgery, and Perineal Plastic Surgery and Gender Reassignment at our hospital. She is a member of the Facial and Neck Rejuvenation Group and the Oculoplastic Surgery Group of the Plastic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association. She has published more than ten international SCI-indexed articles. In 2019, she won two awards at the Chinese National Annual Meeting of Plastic Surgery (Third Prize at the 11th Song Ruyao Young Plastic Surgeons Forum and Third Prize in the 3rd Young Doctors' Excellent Paper Competition of the Plastic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association). She participated in the public welfare teaching and training project “Oculoplastic Surgery” under the “National Team Leading Special Skills Training Program,” led by China Medical Tribune under the guidance of relevant departments and bureaus of the National Health Commission. She also participated in the Chinese translation of Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty. In her clinical work, she has consistently adhered to the concepts and techniques of “minimally invasive” and “personalized” treatment and opposes uniform, assembly-line, puppet-like plastic surgery concepts and techniques. 2. Facial and neck rejuvenation: minimally invasive facial fascial suspension lifting (small-incision lift), and hidden-incision facial and neck rhytidectomy (facelift).

Minimally invasive facial contour adjustment: comprehensively using the “addition and subtraction” approach of small-area facial liposuction and autologous fat grafting, combined with radiofrequency treatment, to minimally invasively improve facial contour problems such as double chin, jawline contour, nasolabial folds, cheek hollowing, temple hollowing, and malar volume loss.
